Your Child's Parent/Teacher Conference

Employees are allowed up to two (2) hours per semester without loss of pay or use of a benefit day to attend parent-teacher conferences for biological children or children in the employee's custody or control, under the following conditions. 1) This time can be taken when District teachers have Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for their students. 2) The time for meeting with a teacher or attending a parent-teacher conference is approved, in writing, at least five (5) days in advance by the Building Administrator. 3) The employee provides a written statement to the Building Administrator, confirming attendance at a parent-teacher conference or meeting with his/her child's teacher, upon returning to his/her work assignment.
